Our leadership, our obligations to others and ourselves all require us to make an effort to overcome our obstacles without prejudice or conflict and with full confidence in the application of our higher faculties.
Most people don’t make decisions. Napoleon Hill wrote a chapter on decisions. Those who reach decisions promptly and definitely, know what they want and generally get it. The leaders in every walk of life decide quickly and firmly That is the major reason why they are leaders. The world has the habit of making room for the man whose words and actions show that he knows where he is going.
He then goes on to explain why most people don’t make decision is because they have developed the habit of in-decision.
When we do make decision, we are going into the unseen part of ourselves. This requires us to use some of the higher faculties of our mind, one being intuition. Einstein said The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and forgotten the gift.
The reason most people do not make decisions is because they can’t go beyond the limits of their imagination and have to see how they’re going to get to there. So, what do they do? They keep doing things that they can see how they are going to get there and don’t really grow.
